---+ Choosing Mesh for a Water Wrap or Ring Sling

There are hundreds of types of mesh out there. One suggestion that has been confirmed by many DIYing mamas is the "football mesh" sold at <a href="http://www.stylishfabric.com" target="_blank">StylishFabric.com</a>.

Appropriate mesh will have a little stretch edge-to-edge, but none lengthwise.

Although Wicking Mesh looks similar, due to the increased stretch, it is generally not recommended for water wraps and slings. If you choose to use a material that has 4-way stretch such as swimsuit material, you can make a [[StretchyWrap][stretchy wrap]] out of it, but it needs to always have 3 passes supporting baby. 4-way stretch is not appropriate for a short wrap or ring sling.
