SSCs are full-buckle carriers, like Ergobaby or Tula carriers. The best pattern out there is the SewToot Little Pick-Me-Up. This is a paid pattern, but it is very thorough, well recommended, and SewToot adds you to a private support group on Facebook where you can ask questions, as well as talk to others about modifying the pattern to best suit your needs.
